A Note to My International Friends about Shipping

I have received a number of messages from my international friends, and I know—when you order products from my store, international shipping costs are high (especially for a single CD!).

I know it, and unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. I have made international shipping available as a courtesy to my international fans and have made every effort to keep shipping costs low, because I know that some amazing, dedicated folks still want their CDs and other items rather than downloads, even if they have to pay the high cost of international shipping (I’m sorry!).

As of today, I have just managed to reduce shipping to Canada somewhat by finding a way to avoid a mandatory pre-paid customs fee (but note that you may still be charged a customs fee by your own Canadian customs people before receiving your package.) And the shipping cost is still pretty high. :(

PLEASE NOTE that if you order more than one CD or item, it does get better. The shipping is only $2 extra per item for most countries (after the base rate), so if you’re getting several items, it may be worth it. In any case, I understand that shipping costs are annoyingly high, and it’s up to you.

Please visit this page for some additional things you should know before placing an international order. (Again, I’m sorry! But I figured you would be happier having the option of shipping to your country than not having that option at all.)
