Album Recording

We did our first day in the studio on the new album today. The album is inspired by Nina Simone and will feature a more bluesy jazz style than my previous albums.

On this album, my regular gang was joined on drums by Willie Jones III from New York, and it is sounding smoking! Henry Franklin is on bass and Gary Matsumoto is on piano. The album is being recorded by Nolan Shaheed at No Sound Studio in Pasadena.
