Launch of “Classic Jazz Lovers” Facebook Group

I am launching a Facebook group for people who want to discover new and old classic-sounding jazz.

The group will be run by a small number of daily hosts who will post a jazz video once every day according to a daily theme, such as “Instrumental Tuesday,” “Eclectic Wednesday,” etc. The group is for jazz from all time periods as long as it can be considered to have a “classic jazz” sound. This includes covers of the jazz standards, such as those in the Great American Songbook, as well as original songs from more recent times that sound like the old standards.

The purpose of the group is to introduce people to new artists and songs—both contemporary and from the golden decades of jazz in the 20s-50s.
