Mills Brothers Show in Kuala Lumpur

At the end of November, I had the opportunity to sing backing vocals for a Mills Brothers big band show in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About 18 people flew out for two concerts which were being held in honor of the opening of the renovated Majestic Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were extremely kind and hospitable. The concerts were well-received despite a little rain on the second day. We also got to meet “The Soliano’s”, considered to be the First Family of Jazz in Malaysia, with well-known jazz musicians spanning three generations.
