RIP George Harper

We recently lost George Harper, who played saxophone on my first album, “Sophistication.”

George was one of the gentlest, most unassuming, most humble persons I ever met, and his abilities on the saxophone were at least as great as his humility about them.
A memorial concert was held for him at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center.
He will be greatly missed.
